Content Management
DTSV has experience with the development of content management solutions that will accept data from a variety of sources, including content that is not readily captured like technical drawings and blueprints. We offer services for design, implementation, support, and training for SharePoint, InputAccel, Open Text eDocs, Documentum and associated products for a wide range of applications. For content management, we can apply our knowledge with solutions that include:
- Full audit trails on all folders and documents
- Collaboration that is easy and effective across teams and organizations
- Check in/Check out procedures that are easy to use
- Indexing to maintain links between images and source documents
- Integration of COTS software and custom interfaces to provide solutions that are tailored to the needs of your organization
- Retrieval of relevant content from multiple sources including web sources, Microsoft products, Image Processing systems
- Capture and display of information retrieved from a variety of devices, including scanners, handheld computers, and cell phones
- Providing e-mail notifications when documents have been added, altered, or deleted
- Performing collaboration on workspaces over the web in a secure environment
- Handling both common document formats (Word, PDF, etc.) and uncommon formats, and to translate documents between the different formats as needed
